Pages Our magazine-style special sections – Body & More, Bride's Guide, HomeStyle, Celebrations and Your Garden – contain at least 14 tabloid-sized formatted pages, in both Quark 4.0 and Adobe InDesign formats. We design tab pages on a 5-column grid, in a modular format to make incorporating local ads as easy as possible. The page size is 11.375" x 12.5". We design weekly pages – including the classified trio of Real Estate Weekly, JobWeek and WheelDeals, and the Body & More, Bride's Guide and HomeStyle weekly features packages – in a broadsheet format on a 13.2" x 22.5" 6-column grid. Articles All packages include text and Microsoft Word versions of each article. Fonts Our sections employ a limited, standard family of fonts. You may substitute your own fonts using the font-management utilities in your design software. Images In our magazine-style publications, we provide images in compressed, RGB JPEG format. Images must be opened and saved in CMYK format for print publishing. Images in all of our weekly packages are provided in CMYK format. We prepare images using common newspaper settings but we recommend fine-tuning them to your press conditions. We deliver images in our print packages at 300 dpi resolution; images in our online packages and feeds are 72 dpi resolution. |
