Our Story

Established in 2001, Content That Works was one of the first players in native advertising. In 2016, the company was acquired and relocated from the snowy streets of Chicago to the charming oceanfront city of Charleston, South Carolina. Since the acquisition, the company has become an innovator in custom and syndicated content creation, utilizing technology platforms from VR, web, social and beyond.

For the past 14 years, Brad has been providing interactive and content-based solutions and training to media clients across the Carolinas. A frequent panelist and speaker at conferences, Brad is recognized as an industry leader on these topics. He enjoys the outdoors and Tennessee football.

Brad Boggs

A Madison County, Iowa native (home of John Wayne, the red delicious apple, and the infamous Covered Bridges) Matt is the author of Dad’s Guide To Pregnancy For Dummies. He holds a Bachelor’s from the Univ. of Iowa and a Master's of Professional Writing from Univ. of Southern California.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Carina has a B.A. in Marketing from Kennesaw State University. Carina has worked for fortune 500 companies as well as building multiple startups. She is fluent in gif 😂. Carina earned her Master’s Degree in Advertising from Boston University. Go Patriots!

Started with CTW in Fall of 2010. Focus was on establishing new business relationships with national corporate partners and to expand digital vertical content opportunities. Established CTW’s sales presentation and launch program to promote the new digital platforms. Established Local Native Advertising sales presentation/platform to create original custom content for any new or existing business partnership.

Born and raised in Kansas City, KS, Carley earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She joined the CTW team as an intern and has since become a leader in our native advertising division.

Bringing over a decade of experience in content creation and editing to the table, Jesse is ready to tackle web content, print content and everything in between. When not scribbling away with his red pencil, Jesse can be found hiking, gardening or cheering on his native Kentucky Wildcats.

As an Inside Sales Representative, John is responsible for selling magazine content, Super Couponing Tips and weeklies. He has over ten years of inside sales/ customer service experience and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Charleston Southern University in Business Administration.

Gronk is our everyday cheerleader. He enjoys eating, swimming and getting his picture taken. Gronk is a home buddy and doesn’t enjoy when he has to leave his tank for it to be cleaned. His favorite thing to do is watch the screens change on a smart phone. He is truly a digital loving fish.


Team Fish

Dan is in SoCal. He started his career as a lifestyle editor at The Brownsville (TX) Herald. From there he went to work at UPI; was a TV reporter; started a weekly arts and entertainment tab; and ended up at Universal Press Syndicate. Dan is a graduate of SIU and a Navy Vet.

Vicki is the president, editor, and founder of Kid Scoop News, a monthly newspaper for children. A former elementary school teacher, she is also a consultant to newspapers on the topic of developing youth readership and educational partnerships.
