Paul CampPaul A. Camp is an entrepreneur at heart and has spent his entire career dedicating his skills and enthusiasm to the effective use of local media to build strong special-interest communities. He has owned three different start-up businesses, masterminded a successful repositioning of a business magazine and launched half a dozen different newspapers, magazines and newspaper sections.

During his leadership of Thomson Newspaper’s Flywheel Media, the division grew from a single title serving 23 company newspapers to a syndicate offering 13 titles used by more than 850 newspapers – reaching more than 20 million households monthly. In 1995, Flywheel purchased FreeZone.com and built the fledgling children’s Web site into a leader in Internet privacy, children’s safety and cutting-edge sponsored content.

Before joining Thomson, Paul worked at The Tribune Co., CapCities/ABC and Fairchild Publications, in addition to his own enterprises. As features editor at the Chicago Tribune, Paul spearheaded the redesign of the features section and directed the creation of new products, including Style, the weekly fashion section, and Your Place, the weekly rental tabloid. Paul has written three books, contributed to Esquire, Black Business, Marketing Communications and Philadelphia Magazine, among others. His articles have appeared in newspapers across the continent. He is a widely sought-after speaker at newspaper and Internet industry events. Paul was born and raised in Alton, Ill.

Matt Miller Matthew M.F. Miller joined CTW in 2004 with five years of editorial management and writing experience to his credit. His love affair with words, however, began some fifteen years ago with a dream, a non-correctable typewriter and an adolescent love of Diane Sawyer.

Previously, Matt was the managing editor of the bi-monthly Southern California Tennis and Golf magazine and an editorial consultant for LA.com, a lifestyle website managed by the Los Angeles News Group, where he wrote entertainment reviews and was instrumental in developing the site’s style and content.

As an editorial assistant for Citysearch.com, Matt managed content and wrote entertainment reviews for both the Denver and Houston regions.

Matt received his B.A. in Film and Media Studies from the University of Iowa, where he was also an undergraduate member of the Iowa Writer’s Workshop in fiction, nonfiction and poetry. He completed his Masters of Professional Writing with the University of Southern California in May 2005.

Marla MorganMarla Morgan joined Content That Works from CityXpress, where she ran sales training programs for newspapers across the county. She gained her familiarity with newspaper sales directly out of college as a commission-only sales employee for the Bangor Daily News. Marla’s goal is to match the right CTW product with each client.
