16 Oct How to inspire giving this holiday season
Inspired by this season of doing good, our editorial team approached the 2017 holiday season with a new product in mind, a 24-page special section packed full of tips for shopping local, giving back to the community and volunteering. See it here.
Our writers really plumbed the depths of the holiday spirit by looking for those feel-good stories. That’s why we included profiles of families that volunteer together each holiday and how-to guides for donating toys and food during the festive season.
Knowing that parents want to pass the practice of “doing unto others” down to their children, we also included a Random Acts of Kindness calendar for the entire month of December that can be cut out and hung on a refrigerator.
A benefit for local advertisers
Inspired by the “Shop Local” movement, we also included several articles pointing to why it’s smart to support local businesses. This includes a guide to the surprising financial benefits of shopping local (we all learned something on this one) and a piece that examines local shopping tips kids.
So if your local mom-and-pop or Main Street staple needs an extra reason to advertise this holiday season, the Holiday Give Back magazine might be just the ticket. They can align themselves both with charitable giving and the warm, fuzzy feeling of supporting the local community – all at once.
A family of holiday content
The Holiday Give Back magazine is one of the four-holiday products, each tailored to a different advertising customer. Whatever your ad sales team is looking for, we’ve got you covered. Each magazine contains 24 pages of fresh, ready-made, professionally written content with plenty of room for ad placements.[/vc_column_text]
