Creativity makes advertising rock.

This commercial might have been better executed in my opinion, but the idea is terrific. While the “eat this” message has been embedded in the name Wheat Thins since the brand was introduced in 1947, it took Vinny Warren, the creative director of Chicago’s The Escape Pod to bring the message to life.

Creativity is one of the reasons we are so excited about the potential of native advertising to elevate local advertisers in opinion leadership.

Now we just have to get local media companies to accept grumpy cats and phrases like “eat this” as appropriate material for their sites.
